My beautiful brown and blue baby boy's nursery is everything that we wanted for our son's first room. I've always loved the colors blue and brown together and knew if one day when I had a little boy that his nursery would be decorated in those colors.

THE WALLS
The uneven stripes that we painted on the nursery walls in chocolate brown, tan and cornflower blue is very modern with clean lines and we felt that it matched very nicely with the patchwork blocks that border the baby's crib quilt.

Page 6I came across the blue and brown moon and stars bedding set on e-bay. I was so thrilled to see what I had always envisioned right there in front of my eyes and at my fingertips.
As soon as the
blue and brown baby bedding set arrived I went straight to work. First, I had to tape the entire perimeter of the room with that blue painters tape. I then painted only the cornflower blue stripes for that day.
Day 2 was the coffee tan, and day 3 was the chocolate brown. At the end of the week, the hubby and I went to Home Depot to purchase the molding (chair rail). I have to award the credit to him for putting it up. The final touch was hanging a mirrored star above the changing table. The crib and dresser/changing table are a beautiful, rich espresso color.
