I chose the colors for the homemade tissue paper pom pom baby mobile to hang above the crib based on the colors of the bedding set and the leaves of the tree wall mural.
The paper lanterns were added after I saw the example of a nursery mobile that another mom made for her baby boy's nursery in blue and green.
I also used her ideas for placement of the cluster once it was done.

It was very easy to make the tissue paper pom poms myself as there are a lot of instructions on party and crafts sites.
If you don't follow written instructions very well and prefer video tutorials there are also plenty of videos that will show you rather than tell you how to make them.

The purpose of the tree wall mural that is positioned by the crib is to bring a bit of nature into the room. It is very easy to use the decals and they make such a big contribution to my baby girl's nursery.
I also took a branch and added tiny, colorful birds to add to the effect of the tree.

I made the crib comforter and curtains to match as well as a matching owl toy that she can cuddle with.
The giant giraffe looking over her to keep her safe was a gift.
