I apologize for the fuzzy picture of our green paisley tree theme baby nursery but my photos never seem to turn out just right. But the tree wall decal looked so amazing behind the crib and the the paint color that we chose for the walls was so perfect with the paisley baby bedding set that I refused to let a slightly "out of focus" picture hold me back!
When I first found out that I was pregnant there were two things that worried me, giving birth and decorating the nursery. There was nothing that could be done about the timing of the delivery so I decided to fill my free time preparing the baby's room. This may not seem like a big thing to those of you who live to watch HGTV and have Martha Stewart on a pedestal but for me, a girl who is more at home on a deer stand in the woods, it was horrifying.
After visiting this website looking for baby nursery ideas and reading articles on how to choose a nursery theme that advised to either choose colors or a theme that is personal, something clicked; I love to be outdoors. I'm never as relaxed or happy indoors as I am in nature.
With this in mind, I considered a rustic, hunting themed nursery which would have worked if we were having a baby boy and had a large nursery that could be filled with forest creatures since our nursery is small and since we were expecting a girl decorations had to be kept to a minimum to preserve floor space.
The large tree decal was the answer to my problem. It takes up absolutely no square footage and is graceful and "flowing" like the paisley pattern on the crib set. TA DAH! That's how our green paisley tree theme baby nursery came about.
