The artists that painted the baby sock monkey nursery murals that we have featured had designs in mind for the walls that were impossible to create using decals or stickers.  One mom in the process of decorating a nursery for a baby boy that was scheduled to arrive at any moment hired a professional when her efforts to order custom wall decals failed.

More than a few decorators came to the realization that the colors featured in the sock monkey fabric they had chosen for crib bedding or curtains were very difficult to duplicate in nursery wall decor.

This set of custom sock monkey baby bedding was made using beige chenille, a sock monkey print fabric and a red and white gingham check fabric.

Please take note of the unique colors that this artist chose to paint the crew of pirates manning the ship. The rainbow colored monkeys definitely are not depicted in the traditional color scheme but they are charming and really stand out.

AmyBeth, a professional mural painter from the Painted Palette, created this sock monkey nursery mural using a traditional color combination.


The colors of the custom made fitted crib sheet that was sewn using Moda fabric with a cream color background were used as a guide.

Here is a view of the wall that includes the tree with two monkeys playing on the branches and another single branch to the side of the crib with a single monkey waving hello to visitors of this little boy's room.


This room was decorated for a boy but the same design would be suitable for a girl's nursery.
