I Need an S15 Crib Hook

I am in need of one S15 crib hook and have been having a very hard time finding one. I only need a single hook to complete the crib, but so far I have not had any luck locating a replacement part.

I am wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to find an S15 crib hook, or if having one custom made would be the better option. If you have dealt with this same problem, I would really appreciate hearing what worked for you.

I would also be grateful for any helpful suggestions on how to proceed, especially if there are safe replacement options or other solutions I may not have considered. Thank you in advance for any advice or direction you can offer.

You don't say what year, brand, or model crib you are working with, but an S15 hook is associated with some older crib mattress support systems. Because these hooks were not universal parts, I would not recommend trying to replace the missing hook, having one made, or adapting another piece of hardware to fit.

Even when two hooks look alike, differences in their measurements, bends, metal strength, and attachment points can affect how securely the mattress support is held. Finding a part described as an "S15 hook" does not establish that it was made for your particular crib.

More importantly, replacing the missing hook would not confirm that the rest of an older crib meets current safety requirements. The crib could have other aging, missing, recalled, altered, or incompatible components that are not immediately visible.
