Where Can I Order Pottery Barn Crib Parts or Replacement Hardware?

We're setting up our nursery and have a Pottery Barn wooden crib that's in great condition, but we're missing a few pieces of hardware from one of our moves. I've been searching online, but I'm finding a lot of conflicting information.

See and compare parts in inventory

Where can I order Pottery Barn crib parts? Does Pottery Barn still sell replacement parts for older crib models, or do you have to contact customer service directly?

I'm also seeing searches for Pottery Barn replacement parts crib and Pottery Barn crib hardware replacement parts. Are those the same thing, or are hardware kits sold separately from other replacement components?

If the exact parts aren't available anymore, is it safe to use aftermarket replacement hardware, or should I only use original manufacturer parts that are made specifically for my crib model?

I've found a few websites claiming to have Pottery Barn crib parts for sale, but I'm hesitant to order because I don't know which sellers are legitimate or whether the hardware will actually fit correctly.

Has anyone successfully ordered replacement parts online for a Pottery Barn crib? I'd appreciate recommendations on the safest place to order crib parts and whether it's better to repair the crib or simply replace it if the original hardware is no longer available.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather spend a little more and know the crib is assembled correctly than risk using parts that aren't designed for it.

Finding the Correct Pottery Barn Crib Parts Is More Important Than Finding the Fastest Seller
by: Anonymous

If you're missing hardware or other components for a Pottery Barn crib, the safest place to start is Pottery Barn Kids customer service. They'll often be able to tell you whether replacement parts are still available for your specific crib model or whether the crib has been discontinued.

It's generally best to use original manufacturer parts whenever possible. Cribs are tested as complete products, and using hardware that wasn't designed for your particular model could affect how securely the crib is assembled.

If original replacement parts are no longer available, I'd be very cautious about purchasing aftermarket hardware unless the seller clearly states it's made specifically for your exact crib model. Even small differences in bolt length, thread size, brackets, or connector hardware can affect how the crib fits together.

If your crib is older, it's also worth checking whether it still meets current safety recommendations before investing money in replacement parts. Some older cribs were manufactured before today's safety standards and may have design features that are no longer considered safe for infants.

Before ordering anything, inspect the crib for loose joints, cracked wood, damaged spindles, missing labels, or signs of previous repairs. If structural parts are damaged rather than simply missing hardware, replacing the crib is often the safer option.

If you're unable to obtain the correct replacement hardware directly from the manufacturer, it may be worth comparing the cost of repairing the crib with purchasing a new one that already meets current U.S. safety standards. In many cases, replacing an older or incomplete crib provides greater peace of mind than trying to source hard-to-find replacement parts.
