Beautiful Rose Decals and Wall Stickers for the Walls of the Baby's Nursery room

Updated by of Unique Baby Gear Ideas

I want to suggest some ideas for using rose decals and stickers as decorations for the baby's nursery walls. You might start with something as small as an arrangement of roses or go big with a display of trellises and cabbage roses to create a fabulous accent wall for shabby chic and vintage themes.

On this page you will see why rose stickers have caught the eye of young people designing bedrooms or sun rooms in their homes as well as a nursery for a new baby. This demographic may not find the notion of an entire room with walls covered in floral wallpaper appealing but might view the idea of some artfully placed arrangements of rosebuds as interesting.

You may find small, removable vinyl roses decorating picture frames, lamp shades or the corners of the family picture album or baby shower scrapbook displayed on a table at the side of the nursery rocking chair in an old-fashioned nursery with rose baby bedding .

How to Use Rose Decals, Stickers and Appliqués

in Modern Nursery Designs If you are having difficulty conjuring up pictures of full blown cabbage roses in dusty pink and ivory in a modern setting, you should see the effect that giant roses strategically placed on the walls have on a contemporary bedroom or nursery. The buds and blossoms are more streamlined and the stems are less twisting with no trellis designs in the background to climb. These rose stickers or wallies are for the hip flower aficionado that wants something more exciting than vintage rosebuds.

VINTAGE ROSE DESIGNS
Sleek and minimalist floral designs are not for everyone. Decorating ideas that include chintz fabrics and antique china need an appropriate style of rose decal that mimics the muted colors and detailed drawings from a more peaceful time. This type of decal or sticker would be right at home as a part of the wall decorations for an English garden or cottage style of décor. Blend a few roses in with the foxgloves, hollyhocks and lavender in the interest of variety and diversification.

COLOR
There are worlds of information on what a rose of any color is supposed to mean to the recipient of a bouquet. I’m not sure that these rules should apply in the decorating sense, but you can rest assured that red roses will always be dramatic, pink roses are sweet and ivory or white rose decals will provide a peaceful atmosphere.

If you can’t find rose stickers, decals or appliqués in the style or colors that work for you, consider trying your had at one of the layered stencil patterns that will result in a design with depth and a perfect color match. For that matter, pick up a book on painting roses and learn how to create your own custom paintings and drawings for your particular project or application. However, if time and money are an issue it would be hard to beat the quick, easy and inexpensive method of using rose decals if at all possible.
