Pink Ballerina Bear Nursery Theme

I took a pragmatic, step-by-step approach in decorating my baby girl's pink Ballerina Bear nursery theme. The first step I made was to watch DIY videos and plan a painted accent wall in a pale pink color with cream color wooden trim. I left the wood floor in its natural color as it can be dressed up with a cute area rug.

I decorated the windows with cream colored roman shades with a pink satin ribbon to pull them up and down.

Once I had the perfect crib set, I went to work decorating the walls by painting cream polka dots in a pretty, pastel pink color.

The baby's bed is dressed with a set of bedding that's not themed ballerina bedding, but a cream crib duvet tied at the top with pink satin ribbon that matches the one that adjusts the window treatments.



There is a medallion at the top of the duvet where the baby's name is monogrammed.



The baby's crib skirt is made from a sheer pink fabric with pink satin lining. I made a liner for the baby's bed skirt from pink tulle underneath to support the skirt and make it stand out similar to baby girls' ballet tutus.

Ballerina Nursery Wall Decorating Ideas

Wall decorations include a plaque with my baby girl's name written in pink letters that is hung with wide pink ribbon tied in a pretty bow.

Once the Ballerina Bear wallpaper was up the project really began to take shape. And of course a soft as silk, cream teddy bear dressed in a ballerina's costume sits in a place of honor on the baby's dresser.

I'm still working on putting the finishing touches on my baby girl's nursery but as you can see I've made a lot of progress and I have had so much fun selecting the decorations and I want everyone to know that I got a lot of ideas for the ballet themed room right here on Unique Baby Gear Ideas.
