Initially, we thought decorating a cowgirl nursery would be as simple as taking a cowboy crib set and swapping the masculine colors for girly pink. It turned out to be a little more challenging than that, but the finished room was worth it.

How We Decorated Step by Step

After we chose the perfect baby bedding set for our pink and brown nursery, we started on the nursery walls with a hand-painted cream and brown cow print border.





Once the border was finished, we attached grass rope to separate it from the solid pink color on the upper wall and the chocolate brown color below. The rope brought in a natural ranch detail and helped anchor our baby nursery theme without making the room feel too busy.





As a finishing touch, we spelled out our baby girl’s name with painted wooden wall letters over her bed.
