The first thing that catches the eye is not our baby girl's colorful, custom nursery décor; it is the baby bedding. The crib set was made from fabric from the "It's a Hoot" fabric collection. I chose this collection because first of all, the fabric is so pretty and soft and second because of the beautiful pattern and colors.

The "It's a Hoot" collection has so many cute fabrics to pick from.

How to Make Baby Bedding



The fitted crib sheet has beautiful, raspberry pink tree graphics that look amazing in combination with the mix of prints that I chose for the bumper and the baby quilt.

I decided to make a crib skirt With the fabric called "Gray Egg Dots" that has just a touch of lavender in the print.

I hope that that my baby girl nursery pictures demonstrate that there is no reason to shy away from bright, cheerful fabics and to show other moms how a blend of fabrics can work with many nursery themes for girls.
