Hot Colors for a Cool Baby Nursery
by JB
One of the hot nursery decorating trends preferred by moms designing a baby nursery in the winter months is to choose a warm color palette. Hot pink is the color of choice for a girl's room and red for a baby boy's room.
I suppose it is natural to wrap our little ones in warmth of all kinds when the cold winds blow.
Consider these photos that are featured in our photo gallery.
Hot Pink and Green Baby Nursery
The color scheme of this room is neutral with the wall paint color a combination of light beige and antique white with the crib painted a bold shade of pink that is reflected in the fabric of the custom baby bedding set and the tissue paper pom poms of the mobile that mom made.
Touches as tiny as homemade tulle puffs added to storage baskets have a warming effect.
When the color scheme is changed, simply remove the pink puffs and replace them with something else or leave the face of the baskets plain.
Bows and bird wall decals take a monochromatic black and white nursery from cool to warm and cozy.
Navy Blue and Hot Pink Nursery for a Baby Girl
I mentioned red as a possibility for a baby nursery room for a baby boy..well, it works very nicely for a baby girl whose name is (what else) Ruby, too!
