Chaucer Swinging Crib Parts

I am in search of a place that sells Chaucer swinging crib parts. Our swinging baby crib is in good condition but the retaining clips for the swinging arm (or metal holder) that slides through both ends of the crib.

This attaches it to the hooks on the stand are worn out and I need replacements.

Serenade Swinging Crib for Sale
by: Maria mccreadie

I have a Serenade Swinging crib for sale that is still in excellent condition. The crib only needs one small bolt to hold the canopy in place.

I have had the Serenade crib since I was a child (and I am now 35) and only used it to hold my doll collection.

I really don't know what to sell it for if someone wants it and wants to make an offer they can email me at neil1948 at Hotmail dot com.

Solution to broken missing retaining clips for a swinging crib
by: Alan

I have a Chaucer Serenade swinging crib, bought second hand 30 years ago and used for the last five of our six children. It was then wrapped up and stored away in our garage, until this week when I wanted to offer it to our son whose wife is expecting in August. Having reassembled it and found it still to be in good condition I had the same problem as yourself, in that one of the plastic retaining clips has broken off and disappeared, and I can't find anywhere where you can get replacements. I bought a pack of 100pc cable clips in our local 99p store (SAM 99p)in BARKING, Essex and found that the 6mm size is a perfect solution, once you have removed the nail. (This is the same size and type of retaining clip used to secure telephone cables around the house) Hope you have the same success. Best wishes, Alan
