Silver Baby Charms

The silver baby charms that I chose would be ideal gifts for workers in my organization. I am the president of Newborns in Need, a national non-profit made up of volunteers (including myself) who tend to the needs of newborns who are born into health or economic crisis for the first 30 days of their lives.

The silver baby charms I chose for my charm bracelet represent what we as volunteers do. We sew, knit, crochet,collect blankets and sadly provide burial outfits for those who lose the battle in their fight for life.

I would wear this bracelet and proudly display these charms to spread the word regarding the work we do and our mission. Perhaps one day I will be able to purchase enough charm bracelets to give one to each of my 55 presidents.

Here's a list of the best sterling silver charms for mom bracelets and the reasons that they are my favorites. I believe that every charm on a new mom's charm bracelet should have meaning because I'm very sentimental.

1. The December baby shoe cause my baby is due in December
   
   
2. The Baby on Board Charm because it will remind me of my pregnancy whenever I look at it. This is an important memory to treasure because I tried for 4 years before finally getting pregnant. After many procedures and surgery I finally got pregnant via IVF on 4/5/09

Silver Baby Feet Charm

My favorite baby charm of all is the silver baby feet charm- because they make me think of my daughter! I love her to pieces and would want something special on my bracelet to make her a a part of it.

Next would be the Mom Heart charm because I'm so proud of being a mother.

Then I like the:

Large Paw print charm for my Doggie that I also love to pieces

The Butterfly with cut out wings because I'm very fond of butterflies, and this one is cute!


A Flip Flop Charm would be fitting because all I wear are flip flops. I hate putting them away in the winter time!


The Love to shop charm would be appropriate for me, need I say more?


The H initial charm (with CZ)because my name is Heather so it's fitting

The May Birthstone charm because my birthday is in May, and This one is really pretty!!

That's my list of silver charms that I would put on my new mom charm bracelet. If I could only pick one it would be the silver feet baby charm because what good is a mom bracelet without charms that make her think of her sweet baby girl every time she wears it?

Christmas Theme Charm Bracelet

I would love to design a Christmas theme charm bracelet for my daughter (age 9) because she has worked so hard in school this year and because she is in three Christmas plays one after the other this month. I would like to put charms on the bracelet associated with each of her performances as well as some honoring our close mother daughter relationship.

The silver shoe charm is for Cinderella, the ballerina is for The Nutcracker Suite (because it's a ballet) and the angel is to represent Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. There a lot of Christmas theme silver charms but none other than the angel seemed appropriate. And even the angel was a loose fit but since Scrooge was visited by three spirits and two were pretty good I think that an angel would work for this play on her Christmas theme charm bracelet.

NEW MOM BRACELET

I'm was just starting to get ideas for my new mom bracelet when I found this giveaway! My mother still had the charm bracelet she started when I was born and offered it to me, but I would like to have one of my very own with charms that reflect my tastes and the details surrounding the birth of my baby girl, Mina.

Don't get me wrong, I love the one that my mother has. One of my earliest memories is of me sitting in her lap looking at each of the tiny charms one by one. It would be very hard to name a favorite. I knew exactly which birthstone was for each of my brothers, my sisters and myself.

If I win the new mom bracelet and eight charms in this giveaway, that will get me started in building a lifetime of memories for Mina and myself.
