This is one of the rare instances where the nursery's art was chosen first and all other decorating decisions were based on its subject matter and color palette. Due to the print, the woodland theme surrounding it is very unusual and will be very appealing to parents looking for the perfect blend of rustic charm and femininity.

Thanks to John Murphy for creating this lovely deer artwork that doesn't demand a room decorated in a hunting theme. Not that there's anything wrong with rustic, hunting nursery decor; it's just not for everyone. There are as many, if not more, people who enjoy simply observing the creatures of the forest in the forest as there are that enjoy the sport of hunting.

This nursery picture holds many unique baby nursery ideas for decorating in a natural, woodland theme without the usual color palette filled with earth tones. The wall paint color and crib set fill the space with an ample supply of girly pink. There might even be too much pink if not for the shades of brown seen in the deer art print and the nature inspired pink and brown baby bedding that balance the color scheme.

Rustic fabrics and a textured brown and pink nursery rug add another layer of interest to the room via the eclectic cluster of lamp shades suspended from the nursery's ceiling.
