Metal Parts for a Jenny Lind Cradle

I have a Jenny Lind-style wooden cradle that is missing the metal bar used to keep the cradle from swinging. The bar appears to slide through the holes near the bottom of the cradle, passing from one end of the frame to the other.

I have included one photograph showing the holes where the metal bar should be inserted and another showing the complete cradle. I am not sure of the correct name for this part. It may be called a cradle locking bar, stop bar, stabilizer rod, or swing-locking rod.

The cradle does not have the original metal bar, and I would like to learn more about the missing part. Does anyone recognize this type of Jenny Lind cradle hardware or know where an original replacement might be found?

I would also appreciate information about the cradle’s possible manufacturer, age, or model. Any suggestions about identifying the correct name and specifications for this metal part would be helpful.
