Is there a place where I can buy Hedstrom Jenny Lind Crib Parts? I need hardware for a 1980 Hedstrom Jenny Lind crib that is missing the two rods for the side of the crib on the side with the gate and rail that raises up and down.

Elizabeth you are not the only mom searching for Hedstrom Jenny Lind Crib Parts and I have checked all over to see there might be a phone number for a Hedstrom Corporation customer service representative but the only information that I could find was that Hedstrom closed back in 2004 and declared bankruptcy, leaving only their plastics division operational.

I couldn't even find a phone number or email address for their recalled cribs which by the way... are you sure that your crib was not included in a recall?

If you have a recalled model, I would discontinue the search for the Hedstrom crib rail parts and direct my efforts towards finding a different baby bed since it looks like it may be difficult to find the pieces that you are looking for and it is never good to take a chance that a crib is not totally safe.

And even if your 1980 Hedstrom Jenny Lind crib was not in a recall, that's a pretty old crib and you need to be certain that the bed is safe.

I'm sorry that I was unable to provide a resource for your hardware, but maybe someone will stop by and will see the request that has the gate rods that you are looking for and contact you.

I am also looking for a 1980 Jenny Lind crib part. The parts that I want to buy are the hooks that connect the mattress springs to the bed frame.

Except the metal hooks for our Jenny Lind crib were almost a "Z" shape instead of a diagonal line. The lines were more of a straight line.

The hook slid through brackets on each end of the spring mattress frame and hooked onto multilevel hooks on each end of the bed frame.

Does anyone have one or know where I might find one?

I too have a 1986 Hedstrom Jenny Lind baby crib that I need parts for! My rails were accidentally thrown away as well as the foot bar.

I hope that someone can help me find replacements for the rails and bar that I need.

Hi! To the previous poster, I see that you mentioned "accidents". I am unable to find a website that lists whether or not our 1982 Hedstrom Jenny Lind crib has been recalled. What accidents are you referring to and where did you find the information? Thanks!

I just became a grandmother and I had plans to use the same baby crib I used for my children own children but in all the moves we have made I am also missing parts.

The crib was safe for my children and I feel confident that if I can find the parts it will again be useable.

I hope to find one at a consignment store and use it for parts. It is very sad that a few minor accidents caused such a beautiful and timeless baby bed to be discontinued.
