Yarn: 1 ounce - 4 ply fingering yarn

Notions: 1¾ Yards of ribbon

Needles and Tension: Use the same knitting needles and tension called for in this free baby sweater knitting pattern.

This hat can be embellished with:

  • ribbon rosettes (as indicated in the illustration above)
  • Holly leaves and berries for the Christmas Holidays
  • crocheted flowers


The color of the yarn used to knit the hat can also be changed according to the seasons, holidays or special occasions.
