Our baby girl's Eloise in Paris nursery theme was inspired by the children's book "Eloise in Paris," published in the 1950s. Much of the story takes place in New York and hotel rooms in Paris. The look I was going for in decorating the nursery was "suite".
The wall decor in our baby girl's nursery theme consists of chandelier wall murals that I bought at Target and framed pages from the Eloise book.
The chair is the same one that we've used in our two previous baby rooms (our baby girl will be welcomed by two big brothers). We just added some fabric and recovered a pillow in a damask material that matches the black and white damask baby bedding.
When we were shopping for fabric cubes
Target came through again with a 50% off sale! There is a great mirror table (which I am sure will be a nightmare to keep clean, but every little girl needs a little luxury, right?) and a damask patterned lamp.
All we need now is our baby girl, and our Eloise in Paris Nursery Theme will truly be complete!
