I need to locate and order Child Craft Legacy Crib parts replacements. I need the lower guide pins for a Child Craft crib in particular and cccording to the parts diagram in the crib's instruction manual the part that I need is Part number H00291.




The crib that I am assembling was manufactured by Child Craft industries.

Dealing directly with the company will require the model number of the Childcraft crib that you need hardware for.

Call Childcraft at 877-716-2seven57.

The model number as well as the manufacturing date (month and year) is necessary to order parts.

How to Find the Model Number of a Childcraft Crib



The model number of old(er) Childcraft cribs can be located on one of the side rails' lower edges. There will be 14-15 numbers but you will only need the first 5.

Find the model number of more recent cribs on the inside of the headboard or footboard of the bed. On the sticker you will see a series of numbers beginning with the letter F.


Example: F20032.57

Provide the five numbers following the "F". Childcraft will not the two digit color code that is printed to the right of the decimal point at the end.

Hi all who are searching for lower guide pins. I also too searched and searched until I finally found them!

I emailed cuddle@cosatto "dot" com and asked to order some of their lower guide pins. The pins are the same as in the picture posted above and are will fit various cots.

When you contact them, just say you need them for a Babys r US cot heart in white. You might be waiting for as many as 3 days for a reply but they will eventually reply and sort you out with your problem! I hope this resource helps someone!

Knowing your model number helps a lot when searching for spare parts for cribs. A picture of the piece helps a lot since there are usually no "kits" available and you have to order or buy one piece at a time.
