I want my baby's Beatrix Potter room to look just like this one! Can somebody help me locate the Beatrix Potter nursery items in the picture? I'm especially interested in the fabulous crib with the bunny finials and a resource for the crib bedding set or the fabric. If the crib set is not from a collection available in stores, I need to find the Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit fabric fast!

Hi Bea!
I remember that pic from
The Glam Housewife Blog
. Isn't it fabulous?

I believe that the bunny finial crib can be found at Poshtots and the fabric on the bumper is a bunny toile fabric called P Kaufmann Cotton Tail. I found some available in a 54" width for 17.99 a yard plus shipping which is VERY reasonable. The coordinating fabric with blue and ivory stripes should be even less expensive.

This mom did a great job on her baby boy's Beatrix Potter nursery theme and I can see why you would want to do something similar. But don't forget to add some personal touches of your own.

By the way, we here at Unique Baby Gear Ideas were wondering if Bea is short for Beatrix.

Confused

Is it better to have a solid color crib set if the nursery has a Peter Rabbit mural painted on the wall or does it look better to use bunny toile fabric to make the baby's bedding and take a less busy approach to the wall decorations? This is my very first project in home decorating and I need some help with the most important room of all, the baby's nursery.
