My Answer:

The Bassett C710-05 sleigh crib shown here is missing essential hardware components, including screws, bolts, mattress support hardware, rod supports, angle brackets, and casters. Without these parts, the crib cannot be safely assembled or used.

Cribs from this period often used long connector bolts with barrel nuts, a metal mattress support system, and reinforced corner brackets to hold the frame together. However, identifying the original hardware does not mean the crib is safe to restore or use.

This page is provided for parts identification only. It is not a guide for repairing, reassembling, or returning this crib to service for infant use.

You may also be able to contact Bassett or any current successor customer service department to ask whether model records or original parts information still exist for the C710-05. However, parts identification does not mean the crib is safe to repair or use for a baby.

Important Safety Note: A crib missing hardware should be treated as unsafe. Older cribs may also fail to meet current safety standards. See my used crib safety guide before making any decision about an older crib.
