Baby Diaper Leaks

I thought that cloth baby diaper leaks happened more often than disposable diaper leaks but my baby boy kept leaking out of the disposables plus they gave him a horrible diaper rash. After we switched, the rash cleared up almost immediately.

I have been using cloth diapers on my son since he was a few weeks old. I am so thankful I had received some G diapers, prefolds, a few fitteds and some covers as shower gifts so that I was prepared to make the switch.

When we first started cloth diapering we had multiple leak issues with the G diapers and the one-size fitteds were too big for a newborn, so we basically stuck with prefolds and covers.

I also prefer pins over the snappi. Since he grew out of the infant prefolds and covers, we have tried everything with the exception of wool. Our stash includes AIOs, AI2s, pockets, fitteds, prefolds, bamboo, cotton, hemp, microfiber, fleece, g diapers and I even made some homemade contour diapers out of old tshirts!

My son is a super heavy wetter and I know wool would solve a lot of our night time baby diaper leak issues. I would love to try a Woolie Wrap, but I am very intimidated by wool care! I have read that Vilate sends very detailed instructions on how to care for her products and that is reassuring but even so I'd like to win a free cloth diaper sample to try.

Since we made the switch, we haven't looked back! After 15 months, I still love cloth diapering. Next time around, we are starting cloth in the hospital! My motto is No 'sposies even if they are "free"! I truly believe that cloth is better for baby and our wallets!
