1978 Model Jenny Lind Baby Crib Parts and Instructions

Where can I buy 1978 Model Jenny Lind Baby Crib Parts and Instructions? I would like to see a picture of a completely assembled Jenny Lind crib that was manufactured in 1978.

If I can see a picture of the baby bed I may be able to put it together with no problem even without the instructions manual but if I could have both that would be even better.

In fact, I may be able to put the old crib together going by a photo.

The good thing about older beds could be that they have fixed sides, fewer moving parts, etc.

As far as the baby crib replacement parts go, I will need the upright rods that hold the fixed side of the crib in place.

If I can see a picture of the assembled bed or a diagram from the crib assembly instructions manual I may know what I need and know how to go about fabricating the piece. The rods that I need for the bed are 5/16" in diameter.

If anyone has a picture of this crib or a resource that carries the metal rods that I need please contact me using the space below (and PLEASE include your contact information in case I need to get in touch with you!).

Unique Baby Nursery Ideas encourages our visitors to share their resources where parts for an older Jenny Lind crib can be bought, inform us of recalls and to review their cribs to make our little community of expectant parents aware of any problems that are associated with different models and brands.

Simmons Jenny Lind Crib Bought New in 1978
by: Anonymous

I have a Simmons Jenny Lind Crib bought new in 1978 that I haven't used in 30 some years.

I'm not sure if I am missing a part for the foot release.

I have the rod that is attached to the drop down side of the crib.

Am I missing another piece that holds or locks the side in the up position.

Maybe I don't have it put together correctly. Please please help me.

thank you.
Cindy

Do you see the label anywhere on the crib saying what brand it is?
