My first baby carrier was a used Baby Bjorn carrier that was given to me as a hand-me-down. It was something I already had access to, so that’s what I started with.
I liked that my baby was right next to me when I wore it, and it was easy to fit under a coat or sweater when we were out. I also noticed that the design made it possible to keep moving through my day without needing to take it off often.
I’ve had back issues for a while, so I’ve paid attention to how different carriers are described when it comes to weight and support. I haven’t compared brands closely, but I’m sharing this as part of my experience. The carrier I have still works, but after being washed many times, it’s starting to show some wear.
