I need replacement upper guides for a Delta Luv crib, model 4624-1. I set up the crib and then realized the upper guides are missing, so we are unable to use it safely.


check current Delta crib replacement parts listings for comparisons.

I would appreciate any help locating the correct replacement parts.

Delta Luv model 4624-1 is identified in my records as the Delta Seville crib, an older model that has been discontinued. Upper rail guides and similar pieces on these older Delta cribs can be specific to the model and production date, so I would not substitute a guide simply because it looks similar.

Before trying to locate replacement upper guides, please check the label on the mattress support board for the manufacture date, country of manufacture and any additional model or production numbers. You may also want to take a clear photo of that label and of the location where each upper guide is missing.

There is an important safety issue with this particular model family. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission included Delta model 4624 in a recall involving certain drop-side cribs. Model 4624 cribs manufactured from January 2006 through November 2007 were specifically listed in the recall notice. Because your crib is marked 4624-1, I recommend having Delta confirm the exact model and manufacture date before purchasing or installing replacement guides.

Since the upper guides are missing, I would not use the crib in its present condition. I would first verify the manufacture date and recall status with Delta and make certain that any part being considered is the correct original or manufacturer-approved component for this exact crib.
