My husband and I compromised on a sports jungle nursery theme since we had two themes that we both wanted for our baby's room and found it virtually impossible to choose one over the other.
My husband wanted a sports themed baby nursery and I had had my eye on a set of jungle safari baby bedding for over a year.

How to decorate a sports jungle nursery theme.
I started by painting the walls a light shade of green.

While waiting for the paint to dry, I shopped around for nursery wall decals and after looking after page after page of the same old baby jungle animal decals, I found exactly what I had been looking for, wall decals of jungle animals playing sports (soccer, football, baseball, etc.).

After deciding on the best location for the baby's crib, changing table, dresser and the nursery glider, we were ready to display our wall decorations.
In addition to the sticker arrangements on the nursery walls we hung foam soccer balls, basketballs, footballs and baseballs from the ceiling.
I was afraid that my idea of a sports jungle nursery might be difficult to pull off, but the stickers made decorating the nursery really easy and lots of fun.
Daddy got the sports theme he wanted for our baby boy. I'm happy that I got to get the jungle baby bedding set that I wanted and it looks perfect with the sporty animal wall decals!
