Musical Bottle Race Baby Shower Game

by Lisa Marie

The musical bottle race baby shower game starts with 3 (or more) baby bottles filled with your beverage of choice. The hostess will then pass the filled bottles out randomly to guests around the venue.

Instruct your guests that when the music starts to play that they are to start passing the bottles like they are hot potatoes.

When the music stops the guests that are left holding the bottles have to drink the contents.

The lucky guest who empties their bottle first is the winner.

This is a great game for a coed shower and makes a fun game for the guys especially if the bottles are filled with their favorite beverages (micro brewed beer for the guys and wines for the ladies?)! The men will think it's easy until they realize how hard they have to suck to empty the bottles. It's funny to hear them whine about how their cheeks are hurting when they are done.

If you think about it ahead of time, you can make the competition even more of a challege by sealing one of the nipples (take care not to create a choking hazard since it would be a real downer to lose a guest at the party!) so that no matter how hard the holder of this bottle sucks, nothing comes out. If the player is a good sport after he (or she) learns he was tricked that player should get a prize for good sportsmanship.

I heard about this game but I didn't know the rules. Thanks so much for providing such excellent instructions for the race that the game took place with no problems and our guests had a wonderful time.
