Madagascar Baby Nursery Theme

by Jan

Here are some Madagascar baby nursery theme ideas that should help you get that jungle look you're after even though there isn't an official "Madagascar" movie baby bedding set in the stores or for that matter on the horizon.

Decorators put a lot of emphasis on decorating a baby's nursery theme after you have chosen a crib set. But occasionally we do have to wing it and either make our own baby bedding or in this case, pick a crib set with a color scheme that works with the Madagascar movie posters that we are going to use for our inspiration.

And the Madagascar posters are so busy and colorful, you will never miss a jungle baby bedding set covered in wild animals.

WALL COLOR

Pick a neutral color like antique white, beige or sage green. We are going to boost the energy level of the Madagascar baby nursery with artwork and the idea here is to give our framed prints a background that is there but barely noticed. The last thing you want is for your wall color to be the focal point. The posters that I've seen have lots of lime green, purple and bright orange so you have your work cut out for you in keeping the walls from fighting with your pictures for control in your Madagascar baby nursery theme.

PROPS and DECORATIONS

If your jungle theme nursery is small, keep the decorations to a minimum. In a large room, you may need a few "space fillers". In that case, consider a large palm tree wall decal or if you're artistic a corner painting would be nice and would serve as a frame for your arrangements of Madagascar posters.
