I need assisistance with my Hedstrom Crib Assembly! I have a 1979 Hedstrom Jenny Lind crib and we are in need of instructions. Does anyone have a copy of the owners manual that came with this baby bed?

Can anyone help me please?

From the webmaster:

I checked to see if I could find a phone number where you could call to talk to a customer service representative for the Hedstrom Corporation but all I could find was a statement posted that this company had closed in 2004 and declared bankruptcy, leaving only their plastics division operational.

I had no luck finding a contact number for even their recalled cribs. And speaking of recalled cribs, have you checked to be sure that your crib was not included in a recall? If it is, I would shelve my search for Hedstrom crib assembly instructions and direct my efforts towards finding another safe and affordable baby bed because it would probably be impossible to find crib parts if they are needed in order to make the baby bed safe.

And even your 1979 Hedstrom Jenny Lind crib was not in a recall, there are certain characteristics that you should look for to see that the bed is safe.

I'm sorry that I was unable to help you with your Hedstrom crib assembly problems, but maybe someone who has the owner's manual will see your request and contact you.

I hope that you will keep us in mind when you get ready to decorate your baby's nursery and need some Unique Baby Gear Ideas !

Parts for a Hedstrom Crib
by: Anonymous

I need parts for a Hedstrom crib 34525 that has a manufacturer date of 6/10/85.

The four pieces that are missing from my parts kit are the ones that hang the mattress support springs onto the crib frame.

Does anyone have a set of these that they might share or sell for a reasonable price?

Or is there a place that has vintage crib parts for sale?

If so, please post the address.

Hedstrom Jenny Lind Crib Model #34726
by: Anonymous

The date listed below the model number on my crib is 3/30/1987. I saw the info stating that Hedstrom was no longer in business. Did not see this model number listed on the CPSC website for recalled cribs. However, I too, need to purchase the rods and any other hardware needed to assemble this crib that I have spent numerous hours cleaning and painting. Can anyone help me?
