Free Knitted Diaper Cover Pattern with Little Boy Legs Styling

Updated December 10, 2025 by of Unique Baby Gear Ideas

This free knitted diaper cover pattern has what is often called "little boy legs" meaning rather than traditional, circular leg openings, that there is a softer finish to the openings that extend an inch or so down the baby's legs.

This is a nice feature for babies that suffer from irritation or chafing in the creases of their legs.

Some children experience chafing only in winter during cold weather but some babies with very sensitive skin have problems year round.
