FAIRY BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS

by Jilly

I made my own fairy baby shower invitations by printing fairy clip art on the lower left corner of an 8x10 sheet of paper. Then I folded the 8x10 piece of paper in half and then folded it in half one more time.

I printed the wording on the card in calligraphy on the inside using colored ink. I like hand printed details in invitations because it adds a nice personal touch but if you prefer you could print them.

Then I added another clip art image to the inside of my fairy baby shower invitations. I positioned the graphic so that it would be on the inside right hand page with the text regarding the shower details on the left.

Paper

I used antique white paper that weighs more than plain copier paper to make the invitations because I could easily find envelopes in the same color. The gold stickers that I used to seal the flap were absolutely perfect.

Now that I have learned how to make my own baby shower invitations, I rarely buy any that are ready made because homemade cards are cheaper and because they are just nicer. I can easily design cards for any baby shower theme or party color scheme and so can you!
