Elegant Blush Pink and Blue Nursery

This elegant blush pink and blue nursery design does not feature a traditional "baby blue" paint color. The walls are painted in a more neutral shade of grayish blue with a color value that we see repeated in the metallic, silver crib.


The lovely color combination is then reflected in the frameless, beveled wall mirror hanging by a pink satin ribbon.

As pretty as the delicate floral border and layers of sumptuous, designer fabrics may be; the large curved mirror is what draws my eye. And it's a perfect fit since regardless of the reflection; mirrors always have a touch of silver that shines through.

Hanging the mirror with a pink ribbon gives us a hint that this lovely space belongs to a baby girl but change the color of the wide satin ribbon hanger to blue, remove select touches of pink decor and VOILA!; we have a baby boy nursery.

The curved mirror has the same decorative effect of an expensive Venetian mirror for a much cheaper price. This is a very handy decorating idea for those of us struggling to make a small nursery seem more spacious.
