Deer Nursery Theme

A baby deer nursery theme was the obvious choice for us since my husband and I are devout nature lovers. We wanted a calming atmosphere for our second baby's room. There were many ways to approach this project but we chose a rustic design with fawns over all of the other possibilities that were available to us.

We found it inspiring to find that there are so many more bedding sets and nursery decorations based on forest creatures and other natural themes than there were when we were picking our first baby's nursery theme.
This navy blue and gold deer bedding set was purchased at SproutCribCoutureLLC and is available in other colors and styles.
The crib set that we chose has a fawn that still has its spots and many animals including owls, fox, rabbits and squirrels. The baby animals are precious, but I believe that the color scheme of antique white, forest green and chocolate brown are what makes our decor special and makes a real connection to the outdoors.
If we had not used earth tones and had gone with some of the other color schemes we found on Unique Baby Gear Ideas as wonderful as they are, I do not believe that we would have accomplished the peaceful atmosphere that we so wanted our baby to enjoy in his first room.
