I am happy to provide additional pictures of our black and white nursery ideas for twins as requested. I am so glad you like our nursery. This view of the baby's room features the crib that we painted in black.

The view from the front of the bed provides more details of how we blended black and white damask baby bedding with zebra baby bedding which I think in combination is more attractive and interesting than one single pattern.

In addition to the black and white nursery ideas for twins that are included in this and our previous pictures, our plans are to add one more piece where we can display our special collectibles. I will send photos when I get the corner book shelf in place.

Black, White and Green Color

You should tell us the exact shade of green paint and the brand that you used! I love the green and cute drawings over the crib!

Black and White Nursery
by: Anonymous

I would vote a dozen times for your black and white nursery if I could! My friends look at me kind of strange when I tell them that we aren't decorating our twins nursery with a particular theme.

Can a black and white nursery color scheme or something cute like yours qualify as a gender neutral theme? Maybe if I buy a set of black and white zebra baby bedding I could call it a jungle theme?

For what it's worth, those drawings you got at your baby shower are the most precious things I've ever seen and just perfect for a set of fraternal twins.

Twins Nursery Themes
by: Freda

No matter how cute they are, there just are not that many twins' nursery themes around. Noah's Ark is great, but not everybody wants that. I don't think it's strange at all that you don't want to lock into a theme.

This black and white nursery is a great example of how you can take neutral colors and make them look fabulous.

I'm not far enough along in decorating my own nursery to enter this year's competition so I'm voting for Nancy's nursery because it's the best in the contest in my opinion.

Neutral is Not Boring!
by: Trudy

I agree that a nursery with no theme and neutral colors does not have to be boring. A tasteful color palette, fabrics and decorations that blend with some cute art is my taste unless I change my mind in the next three months. I saw it mentioned on one of the message boards that when the nesting instinct kicks in themes start looking good.

But right now, Nancy's twins' room gets my vote for singles OR multiples.

Inspiring
by: Glenda

The way that you chose all those beautiful fabrics and made it all work is nothing short of inspiring. I'm not expecting twins but I may "borrow" your techniques for my nursery.

Boy and Girl Twin Nursery Art

I was wondering if you are going to share your prize with the friend that provided the boy and girl twin nursery art. Your nursery is precious, but those drawings are too cute.

THANK YOU EVERYONE
by: NANCY

THANK YOU everyone for the very nice comments. If you are interested in the art my friend will make them by request. Her email address is:janicegoodman at skynetbb.com she also made the crib bumpers. My aunt and I made the skirts and my husband painted the dresser and made the bookshelf. I wish I could submit both sides of this nursery for viewing. I have 1 black crib w/white ties and 1 white crib w/ black ties. The glider is from Storybook series through Best Chairs. I recommend sewing your own bedding. You can get great fabrics at housefabric.com. The paint is Ralph Lauren, but I can't remember the exact name. I will look it up and get back to you on that. The chandelier is from restoration hardware baby and child. The best part of the nursery is the black and white palate is great for the babies. They only can see black and white early on and they really follow the different prints; especially the valance above the window.

Again thank you so very much for your wonderful comments. If you have anymore questions for me please ask. I would love to help. Congratulations and best of luck with your pregnancy!!!

Great but...

This nursery is great but I wonder how the wooden trim would look painted white? Or does the natural color look best with the wall paint. Just wondering.
