I could use some help with my baby girl shower invitation wording. Does anyone know of anyplace where I can see sample invitation wording when the mother to be has asked that the guests bring no gifts. She is having another shower and many of her friends are also invited to that party and her idea is that the men would rather not sit around watching her open baby gifts.
I am hosting a very informal backyard coed baby shower around the pool with a very simple menu of hamburgers, sausages and hotdogs that will be cooked on the barbecue grill by the men (to give them something to do to so they won't start to complain about being bored and that they were forced to come to the shower)that are invited.
The baby girl shower invitation wording doesn't have to rhyme or be in the form of a poem, but everything I write down just doesn't sound right. Can someone point me toward a guide with sample invitation wording that will tell me how to tell the people that we are inviting that no baby gifts are required?
