One great idea is to call a woodworking friend and have him build cubbys or shelves on each side of the nursery closet. The Kolcraft baby organizer seems to have everything I’d need in a closet organizer for baby. There are two roomy compartments at the top that will allow you to hang at least twenty baby hangers with clothing on them. Beneath the baby clothes there is one shelf where you could organize some baby shoes or place a few folded baby blankets and six open cubbies, soft sided cubes or storage areas below this shelf. On the sides there are some clear plastic attached shoe storage slots that have elastic at the top openings. This baby closet organizer is hung from the stationery metal clothes rod by two metal hooks on each end of the organizer and all of the above mentioned storage areas are suspended from this apparatus.
The drawbacks of this model baby closet organizer by Kolcraft are that at the time of this review, the colors are limited to sage and blue. The sage green would work with quite a few baby beddings sets and nursery color schemes. The blue is an ocean or nautical blue that will go well in a baby boy’s nursery theme. But what about an appropriately colored baby closet organizer for a girl’s room theme?
If you need closet storage badly enough, the color of your baby closet organizer may not be an issue. Simply close the closet door and admire your clutter free nursery!
