WHICH OF THESE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS POSTERS DID ASHLEE SIMPSON-WENTZ BUY for BABY?
After denials of a possible pregnancy in April, the Simpson-Wentz’s confirmed sometime in May 2008 that indeed there was a baby on the way. The reason behind the earlier denials was that the couple wanted to wait until after the first trimester to make their birth announcement.
We would ask our fellow celebrity baby bump watchers to add the tendency to be old fashioned at times to their list of Ashlee Simpson facts.This may be one of the few traditional paths that Ashlee and Pete have chosen in regard to their lifestyle, wedding and planning of the baby’s nursery.
In October 2008 it was reported that the expectant parents were seen out shopping for items thought to be for the baby’s room. I’m not really certain how the author of the article could say that Ashlee Simpson, the soon to be celebrity mom and her husband were out for the purpose of preparing for the baby, but I will assume that the writer had information indicating this was the case that she preferred to keep secret.
If Lucy (the author of the article) is correct, we can assume that Ashlee will be foregoing classic baby nursery designs and pastel baby color schemes and stay with the Goth style that she chose for her wedding ceremony. This assumption is based on her purchase of a print or poster from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It would be helpful to know for sure if the poster was bought to be included in the decorations for the baby’s nursery.
If we knew this to be a verified fact then we could safely say that gothic will be Ashlee Simpson’s favorite celebrity baby nursery theme. However, there was no mention that either mom or dad stated that the poster was specifically for the nursery or for another room in their home so we cannot add a definite nursery design to our list of Ashlee Simpson facts.
If, and this is a big if, this celebrity couple is going Goth in baby’s room I can picture a nursery decorated with a black and white crib set made of fabric printed with skulls and red roses in a room that’s lit with black iron chandeliers or wall sconces. Or perhaps the girl’s traditional side that we mentioned earlier in our list of soon to be celebrity mom Ashlee Simpson facts will surface once again and the couple might choose an Alice in Wonderland theme over standard Gothic nursery designs and baby crib bedding sets if the baby is a baby girl rather than a boy.
