Jenny Lind baby bed

by Sherrie
(Searcy, Arkansas, USA)

I bought a Hedstrom Furniture Company Jenny Lind baby bed from a yardsale that looks to have all of the main parts but, of course, there was no owner's manual or instructions and from what I can tell the crib is also missing some screws.

The year that the baby crib was made was 1985 and the only name on the bed is Hedstrom Furniture but the style is definitely Jenny Lind with the turned spool spindles or crib rails.

I need help with the assembly of this baby bed, can anyone please help if you have the instruction manual?

From the Webmaster:
Hi Sherrie! You might consider contacting Hedstrom furniture company to see if by any chance they might have instructions that they could mail. But since Hedstrom doesn't seem to build Jenny Lind baby beds any more, it's doubtful they will be able to help you.

One suggestion I would make is that you upload pictures of the pieces that you can't seem to manage or mail them to me at uniquebabygear at bellsouth.net so I can upload them onto your question page. When you do, please include a description of the problems you are having including as many details as possible. It's possible that one of the visitors here might offer some advice on how to put your crib together.

Please let me know how you come out and I would love to see pictures of your nursery when you get your Jenny Lind baby bed in place!

All the best,

Jan aka MS Baby
