I was recently asked for ballerina bedding and bedroom ideas for a sweet little baby girl's nursery. Of course, I wanted to do my best to find a pretty pink ballerina bedding set as well as some appropriate decorations. I had just finished a hip hop style room so I had to do a complete flip flop and switch gears from painting graffiti on the walls to decorating with tulle netting, satin slippers and tiaras.
Pictures of sensible, machine washable cotton fabrics don’t jump out at you when you are visualizing a nursery in a ballet theme. This could present a problem as there is an obvious need for baby bedding sets to be easy care. Crib sets are cheap, but not if you have to replace them every time baby spits up or has an accident.

I would suggest that you use a set of ballerina bedding that is constructed of polyester fabric or perhaps a custom crib quilt with motifs associated with ballet appliquéd on alternating quilt squares. The slipper appliqués could be made of fabric that resembles satin that can be washed. If you only use the crib comforter to decorate the crib for company, you can get the real article with fancy ribbons and embellishments, but if your ballet nursery bedding set will be used everyday pay close attention to fabric content.

Pretty pink ballerina bedding sets with lace, ruffles and lots of girly details might have fabrics printed with ballerina slippers, as well as pictures of little ballet dancers on their toes.
