I was recently asked for

The slipper appliqués could be made of fabric that resembles satin that can be washed. If you only use the crib comforter to decorate the crib for company, you can get the real article with fancy ribbons and embellishments, but if your ballet nursery bedding set will be used everyday pay close attention to fabric content.

Pretty pink ballerina bedding sets with lace, ruffles and lots of girly details might have fabrics printed with ballerina slippers, as well as pictures of baby ballerina dancers on their toes.
