Cheap Vera Bradley Fabric for Baby Quilts

The only fix for this dilemma is to pick up some Vera Bradley fabric remnants when and if you can find them. At the time of this article I see some auctions for small lots of coordinated patchwork squares and remnants (often cut from Vera Bradley fabric napkins) that rarely exceed a foot and a half in width or length. And the material is not cheap when you can find it all. The average price for an 18X18 inch square is currently selling for approximately $5.

To buy enough Vera Bradley fabric for a patchwork baby quilt or a shopping car cover would take some effort as well as some cash before you ever got to the fun part of sewing it all together. But to see the look on a friend’s face when she opens her gift of a homemade baby item that is truly "one of a kind" and matches her favorite designer diaper bag would be priceless.

Can you imagine how fantastic it would be if there was a line of Vera Bradley designer baby bedding in some of the best nursery color schemes? It would be so much fun to see what I could put together using her fabrics as inspiration.
