Most young parent’s budget is stretched very thin. So if your budget is tight here are some ideas and instructions on how to make your own cheap pirate theme rug or treasure map rug that you can customize to match your pirate theme baby bedding perfectly.
Go to a carpet store or your home decorating store and buy a cheap carpet remnant or bound discount area rug in the right size and color for your kids bedroom and stencil your pirate motifs and designs on it using fabric paint. Some sharks, dolphins, palm trees or a compass would be cool on a pirate theme rug. You can make your own stencil designs or you can go to the stencil department of your local discount store and buy some stencils.
You can stencil your own antique treasure map directions on it with an image of a treasure map at the end of the dashes and landmarks or turn the plain piece of carpet into a floor sized Jolly Roger pirate flag.
