Plastic Parts for a Vintage Wooden Baby Crib Mfg. Date 1981

I am looking for plastic parts for a vintage, wooden baby crib with a manufacturing date of 1981. The replacement parts I need are the plastic tracks that support the wire frame surrounding the mattress springs.

My husband and I are preparing our nursey and I wanted to go vintage with the baby's crib because our nursery theme is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Fortunately my wonderful mother saved the crib and baby dresser that were in my nursery when I was a baby. They look a little shabby but are very chic at the same time.

We are attempting to assemble the crib but after 31 years the plastic tracks that hold the wire mattress springs have dried up and some have broken. I need a total of four (one track for each side) but can't seem to find them anywhere.

I would appreciate some suggestions of directions we might take to find these vintage crib parts, as Home Depot and Lowe's were of no help. Babies R Us, Walmart and Target also have no idea what I'm talking about.

I would hate to not be able to use my crib for our child and would appreciated suggestions on where we might find these plastic parts for a vintage wooden baby crib how we might make the necessary repairs.

If anyone has any suggestions for a resource where I might find replacements, please contact me using the space below (and PLEASE include your contact information in case I need to get in touch with you!).
