Cloth Diapers vs Disposables

by Anna

When it came down to cloth diapers vs disposables for my first baby, I'm sorry to say that I chose disposables. And every week our trash can was packed full of disposable baby diapers.

Now that he is potty trained I can't help but notice that our trash can is only ever half full and make the comparison. I feel very bad for the number of diapers that we have already contributed to the landfill.

My plans are to use cloth diapers for baby #2 because they are so much better for the environment.

From the Webmaster:

When it comes to cloth diapers vs disposables that trash can you mentioned is probably one of the best visual indicators of how much better cloth is for our environment. Maybe an ad featuring an illustration of the pile of trash created using disposables compared to the waste associated with cloth could help more moms make up their minds what is best for them. A picture IS worth a thousand words.
