Amazing Multi-color Dr Seuss Baby Room Ideas

The custom made bedding we found on Etsy was the inspiration for most of the Dr Seuss baby room ideas especially the baby's nursery wall paint color scheme.

I painted each wall a different color to match the bedding - blue, green, orange, yellow and then had wallpaper murals of Seuss characters and vinyl Dr Seuss quote wall decals made using Dr Seuss wall stickers that I also bought from a vendor on Etsy.

Since the wall paint colors are so bold and bright, we had to be careful choosing the finish of the baby's nursery furniture. As you can see from the nursery pictures, the crib that we chose is black, nothing special.

I collected Seuss plush characters and trinkets to make a display on the shelf . To top off the wall decorations, I bought wooden wall letters to spell out Jayden's name in an auction on Ebay. I painted them bright red and they look amazing on the yellow painted background above the crib.

For storage, I bought multi-color baskets and a closet hanging storage system from LandofNod to organize the baby's toys, personal care items and clothes.
