What Unique Baby Nursery Decorating Ideas and Gear is all about...

This website that started out a little over 5 years ago as a personal site that was focused on decorating a baby's nursery in themes and what celebrity moms were up to has grown into something bigger than I ever dreamed.

After the site had been up and running for awhile, moms who make their own crib bedding, baby clothes and give old furniture new lives in their kids' rooms started to contribute their pictures as well as tips, techniques and instructions for how they made it all happen. The how-to information they provided was very timely since so many parents began to take the do-it-yourself approach in the poor economy. In addition to all that, the requests for baby shower information and crafts patterns started to come in adding another layer to the discussions taking place.


If I had to choose a favorite part of maintaining this baby site, it would have to be when I see moms taking time out of their own busy schedules and do their best to help when a mother-to-be asks where she might find parts to her baby's crib to replace the ones that she lost during a recent cross-country move or come forward to offer advice to a person in need that is virtually unknown to them. The compassion shared from one mother to another is inspiring to say the very least.


What's next for the site? I would have to say that I don't know; that's really up to the needs of my ladies and THAT is what Unique Baby Nursery Decorating Ideas is about, the wonderful moms who contribute their ideas and ask questions that keep me on my toes.
