Pink and Dark Chocolate Brown Nursery for a Baby Girl

This pink and brown nursery for our baby girl was just another aspect of a dream come true. At 39 I was more than pleased to have my first child. I was tickled and thought better late than never. The blessed occasion got me motivated to fulfill my lifelong fantasy of a pink fairy princess room.

The first decision that I made in the nursery decorating process was the the pink and brown bedding set with polka dots and stripes for the crib. This really got the ball rolling in locating the best nursery lamp, curtains and even a chocolate brown waste basket with a pink satin bow.

In addition to the white baby crib is a similarly decorated daybed for those nights when my baby girl is sick and I may need to stay with her in her room until she is better. She also has a custom painted armoire that has been painted to look like a little girl's dollhouse.

The baby's changing table comes in handy for diaper and clothing changes that a newborn needs and the nursery rocker and ottoman decorated with cushions made of brown fabric with pink polka dots is great for reading books at bedtime and the baby pink chandelier and matching table lamp set off the entire brown and pink baby girl's nursery theme.

The results are lovely as you can see from the nursery pictures and our princess has a room that is fitting for a future queen!
