Modern baby high chairs have come a long way from the classic wooden models of not so long ago. Contemporary models have been streamlined in designs that seem to be taken out of a documentary detailing what we might expect life to be like a hundred years from now. The only way mom could make her stained wooden chairs colorful was with some bold colored cushions. The problem here is that cushions has developed the same reputation of being difficult to clean as the old fashioned high chairs themselves. One thing that can be said about contemporary baby chairs is that babies may not as comfortable sitting on a plain wooden seat as they were lounging on a soft, upholstered cushion. However, mom can perform cleanup in less than half the time.

PRICE
The one drawback of these baby chairs is that they are rather expensive. The most popular Stokke high chair model comes in at approximately $249.00 and the Svan high chair for ten dollars more give or take a few bucks.
