Elegant neutral boy and girl twins nursery design in beige, brown, tan and antique white

I am so thrilled with our beautiful, neutral boy and girl twin nursery design. I am so in love with the simple elegance of it that if I could fit inside one of the baby cribs I beliee that I would sleep in here with the twins every night.

We did chair rail half way up. The bottom is painted taupe and the top is white.

The baby cribs are Bratt Decor that I bought on Craigslist. The dresser, side table are just old pieces that I painted, distressed, and changed hardware on to look like Art for Kids. The bedding was custom made. They are ivory satin bedskirts, and ivory satin bumpers with ivory and pink on the girl's ruffle and blue and ivory on the boy's.

Even though we wanted a neutral boy and girl twin nursery design, I did silhouettes in baby blue for a boy and pink for a baby girl and framed them each to hang above each crib.

The babies' monograms are embroidered on the heads of each bumper pad. The frames are painted the same color as the half wall, and the ivory ribbon matches the neutral baby bedding. The nursery rug and chandelier are both from Ballard Designs.

Love this twin nursery design
by: Anonymous

I really love this twin nursery design alot for boy and girl twins. I am having identical twins so they will be the same sex which simplifies my decorating situation.

But as I look at pictures of twin nurseries I keep seeing the same yellow and green baby bedding and color schemes used for boy and girl twins and I really like your idea better.
