GENERATION 2 CRIB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Does anyone have a source for a GENERATION 2 CRIB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS manual? I need the assembly instructions so that I can put together a Generation 2 dropside crib Model #35-860 dropside crib.

From the webmaster:

Hi Susan, someone may be able to help you find the Generation 2 crib instructions that you are looking for but before you proceed, you may want to check to be sure that your Generation 2 crib wasn't part of a recall.

The information that I find states that the company that made your
Generation 2 crib closed in 2005 and that many of the baby cribs that they made have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) after reports of three infant deaths and 28 other incidents.

Usually when cribs are included in a recall such as this, the company will offer to send out repair kits or replacement crib parts to fix the safety problems, but since this company is no longer in business the CPSC is urging consumers to stop using the crib immediately. But the CPSC also says that if you will contact the store where you bought the crib that they may be able to help. If you don't get assistance from the store, call the CPSC's hotline at 800-638-2772 and talk to them before you look any further for the GENERATION 2 CRIB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS that you are searching for.

Unique Baby Gear Ideas advises everyone to never use drop side baby cribs. It is illegal to buy, sell or use a drop side crib. If you own a drop side crib, please disassemble it and dispose of it at the local city or county waste dump.
