I’m trying to learn more about an old Jenny Lind–style cradle from the early 1960s. This one is from around 1963 and has some metal hooks and other small hardware pieces that seem like they were part of how the cradle was originally put together.
Since Jenny Lind cradles and cribs were made by many different companies over a long time, the hardware was not always the same. A lot of older pieces look alike on the outside but use different parts on the inside, depending on who made them and when.
I’m just looking for general background information about how metal hooks or similar hardware were usually used on vintage Jenny Lind–style cradles, mainly to understand what the parts were and how they were identified back then.
